Look if you are selling a product of $100 you are not going to get a 40% conversion rate. But if you are just starting out to collect names, emails, and phone numbers you can get over 40% conversion rate. Even if you are selling a product you can boost your conversion rate if you follow these tips.

Now how do they do this? They use huge data as they have so many customers. They use the basis of their existing customer base and their current conversion rates. So they know all their customers are using one landing page that is converting better than others. In this way, they can tell you that hey, use this landing page first.

You should have an amazing value proposition. But don’t use this like enter your email and name and we will send you a free pdf or I will give you weekly updates. This kind of value proposition sucks. It should be amazing. Always remember with your value proposition it should resonate with people, solving a problem that they are facing. Until the problem is not deep they are not going to buy from you. If you are just scratching the surface and not going down to the root cause and also not breaking down why they should opt-in, why they should buy from you, and how it is going to solve the problem they had forever. Chances are less of buying. Look when it comes to landing pages copy and value proposition is one of the biggest factors that affects the conversion rate.

Try to keep your landing page simple. Look in the field of marketing there is a lot of competition. And you one thing for no reason. So why not keep it simple. For example, if you have 10 form fields and in actual you need only 2 then remove the unnecessary waste. Look if you have tons of copy and you are saying the same stuff over and over again then remove it. Simply get to the point.

Look long landing pages go on and on ramble whereas short landing pages are to the point. Short doesn’t mean really a short landing page, I mean to the point. But if you need a long landing page because it helps to answer people’s objections before they opt to buy from you then it’s fine, have a long landing page. But always keep in mind to be to the point and remove the unnecessary stuff. So keep your page simple. You don’t want really long fluffy landing page.

Show your social proof. Look there are so many versions of social proof. They could be testimonials, they could be case studies, it could be results that other people are experiencing and it could be videos also. There are so many different variations, but it also depends on the type of landing page and the business you have. Figure out the best platform for the social proof and comment below why you are choosing it.

Start creating videos. Not everyone enjoys reading. Some people like pictures while some like videos. You need a video that should explain everything about your product or service. It should explain everything about your product or service before they are buying from you. Try to make videos that are short and to the point. Normally under 5 minutes, ideally under one minute. It should answer people’s objections before they are buying from you. It should explain everything in a logical order. You don’t want to be bouncing around and making your video pitch really confusing. When you use videos what you will find is it sometimes decreases conversion but the quality of customers you will get is much better to spend over the lifetime value. So test out the videos.
